The book "Cross Border Conflicts and Customary Ways of Conflict Resolution" offers a comprehensive analysis of the causes of conflict and traditional conflict resolution mechanisms at the border between Ethiopia and Kenya. Through qualitative research methods, both primary and secondary data sources are utilized to examine the complex dynamics in the Moyale region. The study relies on Dennis Sandole's concept to map out the causes of conflicts and assess the role of traditional conflict resolution approaches. Identified causes of conflict include political power struggles, competition for resources, ethnic rivalries, and the impacts of climate change. The book aims to develop future intervention strategies based on traditional conflict resolution practices.
