Product details
August Strindberg (1849 - 1912) is considered one of the most important Swedish authors, particularly known for his world-famous dramas. From the 1870s until his death, he dominated the literary scene in Sweden, was controversial, and often embroiled in personal conflicts. His extensive literary oeuvre includes novels, novellas, and plays that are regarded as classics of Swedish literature.
The present work consists of fictional teacher-student conversations, based on Strindberg's three volumes of the Blue Books, and showcases an author who suffers in and through love while encountering significantly deeper dimensions of human existence. This is a reprint of the German edition from 1920.
