Pastor Jacques travels to Paris for a vacation with some of his parishioners, where he embarks on a secret mission to find a holy oil barrel that he desperately wants to sell, but which is already being used as an amulet by the love-sick rocker Hubert in Zurich. During the journey to France, he also loses a parishioner to death, and another is pursued by the Zurich cantonal police, opening up entirely new perspectives for the shady pastor.
