The book for beginners in German cursive writing. Even newcomers can easily get started with German cursive writing (Kurrent) using this book. The textbook is divided into two sections: In the reading part, based on the "Kurrent" from the turn of the century, the recognition of letters is practiced from individual words to complete texts. Original texts from three centuries can be deciphered - solutions are provided in the appendix for verification and reference. In the writing part, the focus is on the Offenbach script by Rudolf Koch and Martin Hermersdorf, but forms of Sütterlin and the handwriting of the previous century, along with the corresponding writing tools, are also presented. As a supplement, there is a workbook designed to follow the didactic structure of the textbook, featuring letter groups and words for copying on pre-printed lines.
