Product details
Charles Darwin, born in 1809 in Shrewsbury, England, studied medicine and theology among other subjects; however, his true interests lay in geology and biology. In 1831, he set out on a world voyage from Plymouth, which laid the foundation for his entire future life and work. Charles Darwin passed away in 1882. His works are still considered milestones in sociology and cultural studies today. This book contains Darwin's theses on the origin of humanity: he posited that all aspects of human behavior, particularly moral and intellectual abilities, are not innate but develop over a longer period. He further proposed a multi-tiered system, suggesting that each civilization goes through each of these stages during its development.
