Product details
This study examines the determinants of guest adoption using the example of the Hochpustertal holiday village. Possible determinants of adoption are derived from the literature: relative advantage, compatibility, simplicity, trust, age, and education level. Adoption is defined here as an individual decision to accept and continuously or repeatedly use an innovation by a person or organization. The relationship between the determinants and the adoption of a tourism innovation is investigated through a standardized written survey conducted in the Hochpustertal holiday village. All guests who have spent their vacation in the Hochpustertal holiday village are surveyed regarding their adoption or rejection of the innovation 'Helpy - the online butler'.
