Product details

The privatization of the Roman Empire, formerly known as the Migration Period. The author who chose this title must have a serious screw loose. What was he thinking? The Romans fell because they were so decadent and only engaged in promiscuity instead of raising decent children. Moreover, many Germanic nature boys went wandering and rightfully took over the decaying Roman Empire. The author wants to show that this was not entirely the case with this book series, in which he aims to present a different history of the so-called Migration Period, particularly relying on Wikipedia, separated by the peoples involved, who, thanks to their Roman neighbors, got to experience the taste of Roman civilization and law. But why does the author start with the Batavians? And nobody knows about the Roman camp Gelduba anyway! So what’s the point? Germania was then the Congo Basin of Europe, and the Rhine was the Congo. Until the Staufer Emperor Frederick II, post-Roman Europe was ruled only by Idi Amin-like bandit chiefs, including Charlemagne, who was in reality just a short, illiterate bandit chief of mafia-barbarian origin. This is the story I want to convey to you with this series. This is the first book in a series.
