The Spitzenberg cultural devices, their nature, purpose, and economic significance, along with guidance for practical use, with special consideration of forestry culture. Karl Georg Spitzenberg (July 5, 1860, in Martinfeld, Eichsfeld; January 25, 1944, in the same place) was a German forester, gamekeeper, inventor, and pioneer of forestry cultivation (soil cultivation, sowing with plant breeding, planting, protection of sown seeds, care of young plants and soil). His life's work includes the book "Missgestaltung des Wurzelsystems der Kiefer," published in 1908, as well as cultural methods and 34 patents for processes and devices granted to him in 14 countries by 1897.
