The author demonstrates with the freely available data from the World Values Survey and the European Social Survey that there is no reason for alarmism. On the contrary, the perspective is a plea for further integration in the tradition of enlightening the majority population and Muslims to accelerate the integration of Muslims in Europe. The core of radical and violent Islamists in Europe (EU-27, EEA, EFTA) constitutes about 2-4% of the total resident Muslim population, while the subjective poverty of Muslims in Europe decreased by more than 10% in the last 4 years (2002 - 2006), and a certain Muslim middle class began to emerge before the current economic crisis.
