Only four weeks until Easter - Birgit Ahlers, who runs the Hotel Sonnenstrand on the North Sea island of Baltrum with her husband Henning, is preparing for the first wave of holidaymakers of the year. The unexpected visit from her son and future daughter-in-law is a welcome change for the elderly neighbor Grete. However, finding the quarrelsome aunt bleeding and unconscious in her house the next morning is too much excitement. On Baltrum, all doors are always open, and the motto is: If visitors realize that no one is home, they simply leave. Did someone take advantage of this?
