The term entrepreneur is associated with the search for innovations, the implementation of new ideas, and taking entrepreneurial risks: the entrepreneur creates business value. In contrast, attributes such as developing a vision and guiding the behaviors of others toward a common goal are attributed to the leader: the leader generates ideal value.

The authors of this anthology address the following questions:

• What distinguishes the entrepreneur from the leader?
• What do they have in common?
• Who is crucial for the sustainable development of a business: the entrepreneur or the leader?

It becomes clear that a combination of both personality structures in the sense of 'Entrepreneurial Leadership' is necessary to lead a company successfully in the long term.
