For a hundred years, no sunlight has reached the earth, plant growth has become impossible and the oxygen supply has been exhausted. Science develops the method of "transfloration", the transformation of humans into plants. Ethical and moral doubts are avoided, as only terminally ill people are operated on. However, the temptation of a high premium is great; volunteers circumvent the rules and sign up for the transformation.
