The book "Haemogram of the Newborn of Lubumbashi" offers a comprehensive analysis of the hematological values of newborns in the Lubumbashi region. It addresses the gap in medical literature, which often relies on Western studies and does not take into account the specific genetic and environmental factors that affect the health of newborns in the Democratic Republic of Congo. By conducting three studies in 25 medical facilities between November 2016 and March 2018, it establishes a solid foundation for the development of tailored hematological reference values. These values are crucial for improving the medical care of newborns in the region and provide professionals with valuable information for assessing the health of newborns.
