This volume contains nine plays. Nine pieces that are very different from one another, but also works that pick up and modify the tone of a preceding one. In the dramas, which premiered between 2003 and 2014 on the studio stage of the Aschaffenburg City Theater, there are quirky, bizarre, and often threatening characters: a supposed neo-Nazi who kills a black girl he has fallen in love with; a Baltic tourist who is attracted to women with missing limbs; two men who almost fervently resign themselves to their fate, even though they could rebel against it; a desperate man who kills his great-aunt, who abused him for years; or Alwin and Robert, who must get to Paris to acquire a Confederate cap that the sentimental softie Adamo wore during the finish of the Tour de France in 1966. Heinz Kirchner directed the plays, placing great emphasis on not overloading the productions, but always focusing on the actors and the language.
