Herbin, 6 ink cartridges in a tin, standard format Founded in Paris in 1670 under Louis XIV, Herbin quickly became known for its inks exported all over the world. Even today Herbin has its headquarters in Paris. 6 small ink cartridges (universal format) in a round aluminium container. Available in a total of 25 colours with French and poetic names. The ink has been designed for frequent use with fountain pen and rollerball. It is finely filtered so as not to clog the pens. The inks consist mainly of water, a humectant to limit drying in relation to the nib, and a preservative to maintain their properties over time. The dyes used have been specially selected to offer the richest colour palette on the market.
