Twenty shepherds are needed to process the wool and milk from Hilda. One day, they grow tired from all the work and hatch a wicked plan: they want to sell Hilda's meat. Fortunately, Hilda hears everything thanks to her giant ears and makes a timely escape. In the city, she becomes a huge attraction. Cameras flash and people gather. Intimidated, Hilda flees to the tallest building. From there, she sees a circus tent in the distance... But the circus director doesn't want to feed an old wool-milk sheep. Saddened, Hilda wanders down to the harbor. There, she hears the cries for help from a little sheep that has fled into the water to escape a wolf. Courageously, she jumps into the water and saves it. "What is a wolf?" Hilda asks. "You've probably never seen one because all the wolves run away from you," says the little sheep. Soon it becomes clear where Hilda's new home is: with the sheep herd on the hill. And by the way: since Hilda arrived, no wolf has ever shown up again.
