Product details
Organizational change often involves organizational learning. Although sequential learning processes, known as double-loop learning, are frequently discussed in theory, they have been scarcely examined empirically. Marius Herzog explores whether and how double-loop learning can be reconstructed in the corporate history of Linde AG. To this end, he develops a model of actor-centered organizational learning, which is applied to the history of Linde AG. Insights from historical learning processes can help identify characteristics of an organization that are beneficial for its future learning processes.
The book is aimed at lecturers and students in the social sciences with a focus on organizational research, as well as corporate historians and executives.
