The book "If a woman decides to urinate like a man, she will only wet her hands" examines the challenges women face in modern society, particularly in political leadership. It highlights the ongoing gender inequality in politics and analyzes how local proverbs in Ghana shape people's attitudes towards women's roles in society. By investigating the Akan, Ewe, and Dagomba ethnic groups, it reveals the cultural factors that influence women's political participation. The findings of this study provide valuable insights into the need to promote more women in leadership positions and to question the societal norms that restrict their involvement.
