Since 1895, the art of film has fascinated the world, offering new visual and technical possibilities compared to theater and opera. Film represents a kind of cultural ambassador. It can cross the border. Film trade is a means to create cultural, economic connection with other countries. As neighboring countries, Germany and France were quick to exchange films, and then after the creation of the European Union, these transactions were protected and encouraged. Unfortunately, the future of European film is not assured because of the strength of the U.S. competitor.
