"Improving E-Learning Development in Higher Education in Egypt" is a scholarly book that addresses the enhancement of engagement in e-learning in Egypt. The author, Mohamed El Zayat, examines the various factors influencing the development of e-learning in the country. Through comprehensive literature research, topics such as the definition of e-learning, the process of introducing new technologies, and Egypt's e-readiness regarding technological infrastructure, socio-cultural acceptance, economic opportunities, and the availability of e-content are discussed. The results of this analysis lead to a framework of critical success factors that affect the development of e-learning. To validate the theoretical findings, a field survey was conducted, providing valuable insights into participants' experiences with technology in the learning process. Based on this, a strategy to improve e-learning engagement in Egyptian higher education is presented, aimed at enhancing accessibility to higher education.
