Due to the increasing complexity of intra- and inter-company business processes, which is manifested in the growing individualization and shortening of product life cycles, companies find themselves in a tension between efficiency through standardization and the necessary flexibility. Sebastian Huber presents a holistic solution approach for managing agile enterprise architectures and information networking in dynamic value creation networks. Additionally, the author demonstrates how the so-called knowledge worker can be organizationally and technically integrated into loosely structured and knowledge-intensive business processes, as well as how corresponding collaboration concepts can be designed. This work was awarded the Hermann Gutmann Foundation's Doctoral Prize in 2013.
