After all the battles and the carnage in Shibuya, Yuji finally manages to take down the vengeful spirit Mahito. But just as he is about to deliver the final blow, Suguru intervenes. Yuji slowly begins to realize that this revenant has merely been using the vengeful spirits to eliminate Satoru. However, Yuji cannot yet know that Suguru is already close to achieving his true goal: to usher in a new era of cursed powers.
