In her bestseller "Klub Drushba," Rebecca Maria Salentin described her four-and-a-half-month hike along the "Path of Friendship" from Eisenach to Budapest. Inspired by the success of this journey, which she undertook completely untrained, with a large dose of fear in her backpack but equipped with strong will, she set out once again: this time by bicycle. She traveled nearly 10,000 kilometers with a tent and stove along the Iron Curtain Trail. This tour took her through 20 countries, across untouched mountain regions, bear territories, forests, coastal areas, and devastated villages.
