"Learners' Autonomous Learning of Mathematics Using Mobile Technology" is a guide that focuses on supporting learners in independently acquiring mathematical concepts through the use of mobile technologies. The study examines the experiences of 11 tenth-grade students who interact with VITALmaths video clips to enhance their understanding of the Pythagorean theorem as well as the addition and subtraction of fractions. These short, informative video clips, developed in collaboration between students and researchers at the University of Teacher Education in Northwestern Switzerland and Rhodes University in South Africa, provide an innovative way to learn mathematics. The clips are free and can be downloaded on mobile phones, facilitating access to learning resources and promoting learner autonomy.
