Dr. med. Brucker was born in 1957 in Tirschenreuth, Bavaria. After graduating from high school, he studied medicine. Following his state examination, he specialized as a physician in psychiatry and neurology. He has been running his own practice for 20 years. Time and again, he encounters the existential concerns of people. He has always been interested in near-death experiences. After hearing about them repeatedly in his practice, he wrote this book. It also addresses the question of what consequences these near-death experiences have for us.
