"Mammals of the Valley (Bahía Solano-Chocó)" is a specialized book that presents the results of comprehensive research on medium and large mammals in El Valle, Chocó, Colombia. The authors, Diana Pinto, Abelardo Rodríguez - B, and Alex Jimenez O, aim to assess the relative abundance, diversity, and composition of these animal species. Additionally, the relationship between the local community and the fauna, as well as the natural resources of the lush rainforests in this region, is examined. By applying ethnozoological principles, the community is actively involved in the research to capture their knowledge and use of wildlife.
