The questions of migration and integration are currently politically very pressing. Not least, the media have come under scrutiny because they enable migrants to remain entrenched in their 'foreign' home culture through digital technology. Against this backdrop, this anthology presents the state of research through quantitative and qualitative studies. In addition to solid data on media usage among migrants in Europe, the focus is on questions of identity development and the associated cultural positioning.
