Katarina Bishop has been famous for two months now: as the leader of the gang that robbed the safest museum in the world. Much to the dismay of her relatives, she still refuses to continue the family tradition as an ordinary criminal. The master thief Kat specializes in something else: she returns stolen valuables to their rightful owners; she steals them back.
When she receives a commission from an elderly lady to recover the Cleopatra Emerald, Kat can't resist the challenge. But there are three problems: First: the stone hasn't been displayed publicly for over thirty years; second: it never stays long with whoever currently possesses it.
