The 5-hour course in the 11th/12th grade on the concept of Human & Politics SII is structured inductively, problem-oriented, and student-centered, sparking interest in political and social contexts. Your students will acquire substantive security and reliable competencies for their political and social actions at a high school level. Competency orientation is supported by foundational and author texts, which are complemented by current, multi-perspective materials that convey the necessary subject competence through an exemplary approach. Practically tested teaching methods and common social science work techniques enable an open, independent access to the teaching materials while training methodological competence. The variety of photos, graphics, text materials, and controversial cartoons used enhances judgment competence. The assignments take into account the operators, consider different levels of requirements, and thus contribute to the integration of competencies. Optional tasks and aids in the appendix allow for a differentiated approach to the content. Summary pages are suitable for independent review of the content and help consolidate competencies. Training pages in the style of an Abitur exam at the end of a semester provide an exemplary approach to the requirements of the central Abitur.
