The core of the strategy presented in this paper for the first time is the combination of the hydraulic and cooling circuits in one unit and the utilisation of the resulting synergy effects. Thus, various components can be saved and the investment costs reduced. By combining the circuits, a common fluid becomes necessary, which is also presented. Practical energy and cost saving potentials are presented on the basis of investigations.
