Product details
The specialized book "Methods of Authentication Based on Vibration-Acoustic Signals of Input Devices" offers a comprehensive examination of the possibilities for identifying users based on vibration-acoustic signals generated while typing on a keyboard. It addresses identification through arbitrary text as well as specific passwords. The first chapter provides an overview of existing biometric identification methods, while the second chapter focuses on the analysis of the acoustic noises produced during typing. The vibration-acoustic signals are filtered through an adaptive filter before processing, and features are extracted using Fourier transformation. Identification is carried out using a perceptron, examining the dependency of correct identification on the length of the feature vector. The third chapter analyzes the potential for identification through the movement characteristics of a computer mouse pointer, including the development of algorithms for detecting mouse clicks and identifying users.
