Marta Galewska-Kustra is a Polish speech therapist who has developed a method for teaching children to speak using onomatopoeic words, especially those who find it a bit challenging. From the sound "Wau! Wau!" comes the word Wauwau, which permanently associates with the idea of a dog. Once the child has a concept for which there is a word, they can also substitute it and say "Hund" (dog). Page by page, children are guided through familiar life situations, with corresponding sound words and simple texts that clarify who or what is making "Wau! Wau!" or "Tick-Tack." Adults also receive some tips. An educational fun experience for both children and parents.
