Andreas Kieling was born in 1959 in Gotha, Thuringia, and fled the GDR at the age of 16. In 1991, Kieling began his career as a documentary filmmaker. Since then, Germany's well-known and likable wildlife filmmaker has been "hunting" his subjects with a camera and a lot of empathy. Follow Kieling to Yellowstone National Park, Madagascar, and of course, Alaska. Get up close and personal with koalas, orangutans, and penguins.
