The economic and political challenges make working in networks a crucial criterion. Therefore, this book deals with the fundamentals of networking social welfare organizations. In this context, network analysis opens up various perspectives and courses of action. The question arises whether networking between social welfare organizations and profit-oriented companies brings such significant advantages that it justifies sustainable collaboration. To investigate this, a model project named Tandem was initiated in the city of Zwickau in 2011. Since the project is designed to last three years, the book initially focuses on analyzing successful network building and the intended evaluation methods.
