There are no limits to the literary journey - distant countries, foreign worlds, seeing life through different eyes. Each of the fifteen authors in this anthology takes a different path; together with them, we leave familiar trails and discover new perspectives: We venture into unknown territory, wander down wrong paths, witness spiritual battles between reality and the dream world, feel foreign pain, and grow from new experiences.

The short stories were created on the theme 'New Paths, New Worlds - a Literary Journey as a Shift in Perspective' for the Litopian writing competition in 2016. Within it, a diverse array of short stories found their home, showcasing a variety of thematic variations: lively social-critical viewpoints were expressed regarding the increasing materialism and the ever-growing pressure that threatens to overwhelm us as individuals; the perspective of the animal world led along original paths; pain, loss, and leaving the familiar demanded escape routes that allowed for a forward-looking gaze; self-exploration led inward and cleared the way for new insights; in dystopian worlds, old values were rediscovered.
