The needs and behaviors of building users often differ from the expectations of building planners, especially in buildings with innovative building technology. This study examines how user orientation was implemented in the planning of certified office buildings, what factors influenced these processes, and how the success factors can be integrated into the assessment system for Sustainable Building (BNB) for office buildings.
