Product details

"Obake no Q-Tar" is a manga by Fujiko Fujio that tells the adventures of a ghost named Qtar, who lives with the Hara family. Qtar, also known as Q-chan or Oba-Q, is a mischievous spirit who loves to scare people and steal food. Despite his eerie nature, he has a great fear of dogs. The stories are often formulaic and focus on the pranks of Qtar and his friends. The manga was drawn between 1964 and 1974 and has spawned several anime adaptations, which were particularly popular among younger children. The first anime series aired from 1965 to 1968 and was a precursor to "Doraemon." The character's popularity extends beyond Japan, with broadcasts in Hong Kong under the name Q-tailong. The blend of humor and supernatural elements makes "Obake no Q-Tar" a unique work of Japanese fiction.
