The Open House Oberwart, OHO, has developed into one of the most important socio-cultural institutions in Burgenland over its 30 years of existence. The aim of the house is to provide a platform for contemporary local art and culture, as well as to address and present socially critical topics in various formats. Over the years, OHO has become a stage for contemporary Burgenland theater, where young authors like Katharina Tiwald and Clemens Berger have the opportunity to have their plays performed.
