Through his extensive analysis of all significant influences on the overall powertrain system, the author can accelerate the early concept phase of the vehicle development process while simultaneously improving the quality of its outcomes. The simulation is conducted using computationally efficient models and calculation methods specifically created for this application, along with a multi-criteria optimization algorithm. The strengths of the methodology lie in its high variability, modularity, and the consideration of specific characteristics of electrified drives, such as the impact of voltage levels and the derating behavior of individual components.
