The subject of this work is the analysis and further development of the start-up and change management at Dr.-Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, with a focus on optimal organizational and procedural design. To ensure a reliable market launch of products in terms of time, quality, and cost, a thorough understanding of all relevant processes and their interdependencies is necessary. The start-up management, which directly precedes the market launch of the products, is responsible for ensuring the start of series production up to the desired output quantity, as well as providing the development department with insights from the assembly of the vehicles. Through change management, components can be modified in case of complaints and integrated into production. Disruptions negatively affect the processes in terms of achieving objectives and are identified. Based on a comprehensive understanding of the processes and their disruptions, a proposal for optimization regarding a holistic start-up and change management is developed, aiming to move away from reactive problem-solving and enable proactive action in anticipation of problems, thereby ensuring the achievement of start-up goals.
