The Bruneck archaeologist, historian and local historian Reimo Lunz dedicates his work to the historical postmarks and postcards of his home town of Bruneck. However, his explanations are not limited to the older history of the postal service in Bruneck. Rather, he traces the development and history of the town over a period of almost 120 years using old letters and postcards. These contemporary documents reconstruct the development of the town and tourism in the Puster Valley. This is particularly fitting as the postal service and the development of tourism are closely linked. The text is supplemented by over 500 historical photographs, letters and postcards, which impressively illustrate the development of the town and allow readers to immerse themselves in bygone eras.
