"Prescribed Diets in HIV Malnourished Children" is a specialized book that addresses the role of nutrition in mitigating the effects of HIV/AIDS in malnourished children. It is based on a comprehensive study of the effectiveness of Insta Food by Prescription (FBP) and highlights the challenges encountered in providing these specialized diets. The book covers important topics related to the nutrition of HIV-infected children, including hygiene, training of caregivers, the relationship between child and caregiver, as well as social and economic factors. The research was conducted as part of the Lea Toto Program, which operates in Nairobi, Kenya. The results show that many patients made progress after the introduction of Insta FBP. To effectively combat malnutrition in HIV-infected children, an integrated program is required that considers both nutritional and social aspects.
