Experts from all disciplines are dedicated to exploring and defining new management practices that are essential for gaining advantages in the knowledge-based economy. Knowledge must be managed effectively, or it will lead to failure. The intangible must be made measurable. If it cannot be measured, it is considered worthless. A method needs to be found, a model, a so-called handbook that all stakeholders can use. Every six to seven years, humanity's knowledge doubles. During this period, it accumulates as much knowledge as it has gathered from the Stone Age to the present day. Knowledge is becoming the production factor of tomorrow. The ability to quickly generate knowledge and apply it in a solution-oriented manner is the key to economic success. The phenomenon of knowledge must be managed rather than left to its own devices. As incomplete as the system used may be, having some level of influence and control is still better than having none at all. The aim of this work is to discuss the PLZ concept controversially and to highlight connections with other management systems.
