Aluminum has become indispensable in our daily lives. Due to its versatile use, more and more aluminum waste is generated in households and industries. For this reason, the ecological and economic significance of producing secondary aluminum compared to primary aluminum must be considered. This work particularly addresses the recycling of aluminum from municipal waste and incineration ashes (slag).
