The book "Quality of Houses with Reference to Their Space and Function Relations" examines the quality of life in residential houses across three different areas of Tabriz, Iran. It highlights the dissatisfaction that arises in interior design at the time of purchase or during the use of the houses. The study shows that cultural and economic factors of the residents have a direct impact on their satisfaction. Higher satisfaction is noted in Ferdous Alley of Tabriz compared to Roshdye City, while satisfaction is lowest in the Mehr Complex of Tabriz. However, this is not necessarily an indicator of the residents' satisfaction, as many of them desire fundamental changes. The book argues that culture, customs, housing expectations, and the family's economic situation are central principles for architectural design. It emphasizes that these aspects are often inadequately considered in the architecture of Tabriz. By conducting primary research prior to planning, issues in residential architecture can be better avoided.
