The first part of this work contains a systematic investigation of the load-bearing behavior of cantilever walls using three-dimensional numerical calculation models. The three-dimensional calculations serve as the starting point for this work due to the spatially specific load-bearing behavior of the cantilever walls. Based on their results, in the form of horizontal wall displacements and bending moments, planar numerical calculations were conducted in the second part of the work. The calculation parameters and the approach used in the numerical calculations were determined through discussions with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Schmitt. To quantitatively verify the calculation results, the obtained two- and three-dimensional results were compared. For this purpose, the wall displacements in the final state, the bending moments, and the shear forces were evaluated. The comparison of the results demonstrated that while the two-dimensional calculations are on the safe side, they are far too inaccurate for practical application.
