The 4th conference in the series 'Law and Financing of Renewable Energies' at Leuphana University Lüneburg took place on November 28, 2011, focusing on the topic of photovoltaics. The aim of the conference was to address the changes in the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) and to highlight potential actions for future activities based on the experiences gathered from existing systems. Seven speakers presented contributions covering aspects related to law, insurance, and financing. The presentations provide insights into the insurance market, equity procurement in solar cooperatives, and legal issues regarding the financing of photovoltaic systems. The present collection publishes the revised written versions of the contributions.
