"Law for Social Work" is aimed at students and professionals in the field of social work and presents essential legal knowledge in a compact form, directly related to practical application. Law serves as a foundation and tool, resource and limitation for professionals. This foundational work is intended as an introduction. On one hand, it aims to foster an understanding of important legal institutions and procedures. On the other hand, it introduces and comments on particularly relevant areas of law for practice, such as contract law, data protection, marriage and family law, child and adult protection law, social assistance and social insurance law, as well as victim support and criminal law, with a focus on aspects particularly significant for social work.
