Given the challenges posed by baseline wander noise and other interference signals, the need for precise signal processing is crucial, especially for the analysis of heart attacks that rely on information in the ST segment. The authors present an innovative architecture based on FPGAs that utilizes the LMS algorithm technique to minimize various types of noise. The implementation is carried out on a Spartan 3s400pq208-4 board using Xilinx System Generator software.
