This collected volume brings together various essays that analyze Iamblichus' 'Protreptikos' using text mining methods, thereby providing new insights for the research discourse regarding its connections with Aristotle's Protreptikos and the works of Plato. Iamblichus' 'Protreptikos' deals with the teachings of Pythagoras and engages with the philosophical currents of classical times for this purpose. Accordingly, many quotations from those philosophers can be found in this work. The text mining tools used here from the eAQUA portal include citation analysis and co-occurrence analysis, offering a promising glimpse into Iamblichus' citation practices.
